We retain records of WhatsApp communications for service fulfilment, quality assurance, and customer support purposes.

2 How We Use Your Information

We use the personal information we collect strictly for the following purposes:

• Service Fulfilment: To perform your booked Kumbh Snan ritual, chanting your name and gotra at the holy ghat as you have instructed.
• Booking Confirmation: To confirm your booking slot, package selection, and payment details via WhatsApp and email.
• Video Proof Delivery: To deliver your personalised ritual video to your WhatsApp number within 24 hours of the ritual.
• Customer Communication: To respond to your enquiries, provide support, and keep you informed about your booking status.
• Payment Processing: To complete your payment transaction securely through Razorpay.
• Service Improvement: To analyse website usage patterns (anonymised) and improve our offerings and user experience.
• Marketing Communication: Occasionally to inform you of upcoming Kumbh Mela dates, new service offerings, or special announcements — only if you have not opted out.
• Legal Compliance: To comply with applicable Indian laws and regulations, including financial record-keeping obligations.

3.1 Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel)

Your booking information (name, phone, email, selected package, and payment ID) is stored in a private Google Sheet accessible only by authorised Kumbh Snan team members. This data is used solely for managing bookings, communicating with you, and performing the ordered ritual. Google processes and stores this data on its secure servers.

3.4 Razorpay (Payment Processing)

All payments on our website are processed by Razorpay Software Private Limited, India's leading payment gateway. When you complete a payment, your financial information (card details, UPI, net banking credentials) is transmitted directly to Razorpay's encrypted, PCI-DSS compliant servers. Kumbh Snan does not store your full payment card details. Razorpay provides us with a transaction ID and payment confirmation, which we store alongside your booking record.

4 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our website uses cookies — small text files stored in your browser — to improve your experience and collect analytics data. The cookies we use include:

• Session Cookies: Temporary cookies that expire when you close your browser. Used for basic website functionality.

While we take all reasonable precautions, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security of your data, but we are committed to using commercially reasonable means to protect it.

6 Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purpose for which it was collected:

• Booking records are retained for a minimum of 3 years to comply with Indian financial and tax record-keeping requirements.
• Photographs submitted for ritual purposes are deleted within 90 days after the ritual has been performed and the video has been delivered.
• WhatsApp communications are retained for up to 1 year for customer support and service quality purposes, after which they may be deleted or anonymised.
• Analytics data collected via Google Analytics and Meta Pixel is retained per those platforms' own retention policies (typically 26 months for Google Analytics).

You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting us (see Section 8).
