Welcome to Kumbh Snan. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website at kumbh-snan.com and all Digital Snan booking services offered by us. By accessing our website, placing a booking, or making payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms in their entirety.
In these Terms & Conditions, the following terms carry the meanings assigned below:
- â¸"Company", "We", "Us", "Our" â refers to Kumbh Snan, the operator of kumbh-snan.com and all associated services, based in Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
- â¸"Service" â refers to the Digital Snan (proxy ritual bath) and related online puja services offered by the Company on behalf of the customer.
- â¸"Customer", "You", "Devotee" â refers to any individual who accesses the website, submits a booking, or purchases a service package.
- â¸"Pandit" â refers to the trained Vedic priest(s) engaged by the Company to perform the ritual on behalf of the customer.
- â¸"Kumbh Snan / Digital Snan" â refers to the practice of having a qualified Vedic pandit perform a sacred ritual bath (snan) and associated puja at the holy ghats of Nashik on behalf of a devotee who cannot attend in person.
- â¸"Video Proof" â refers to the video recording of the ritual, delivered to the customer via WhatsApp as evidence of service completion.
- â¸"Booking" â refers to a confirmed order placed by a customer by selecting a package, submitting the booking form, and completing payment.
- â¸"Platform" â refers to the website kumbh-snan.com and any associated mobile or social media properties operated by the Company.
Kumbh Snan provides a facilitated spiritual proxy service wherein trained and experienced Vedic pandits perform sacred rituals at the holy ghats of Nashik, Maharashtra, India, on behalf of devotees who are unable to attend the Kumbh Mela in person.
Important Spiritual Acknowledgement: Our service is a sincere facilitatory offering. While we engage qualified Vedic pandits and follow authentic ritual procedures, the spiritual, religious, or karmic merit (punya) derived from the ritual is a matter of personal faith. The Company makes no guarantee, representation, or warranty regarding any spiritual, religious, or supernatural outcomes resulting from the performance of the ritual.
The service is designed to support devotees who face physical, geographic, financial, or health constraints that prevent them from attending Kumbh Mela personally. It is not a replacement for direct pilgrimage and is offered purely as a sincere service of devotion on the customer's behalf.
The Company currently offers the following service packages for Kumbh Mela Nashik 2027:

Prices are inclusive of all applicable taxes unless otherwise stated. USD pricing is indicative only and subject to exchange rate variation. The INR price is the binding transaction price for all bookings.
The Company reserves the right to modify package contents, pricing, and availability at any time prior to booking confirmation. Confirmed and paid bookings will be honoured at the price and package description in effect at the time of booking.
To complete a booking, customers must follow the steps outlined below. A booking is only considered confirmed upon receipt of full payment.
- Select a Package â Choose the package that fits your requirements from the pricing page.
- Complete the Booking Form â Submit your full name, gotra, WhatsApp number, email address, country, and any special requests. You must also upload a clear photograph as required by the selected package.
- Make Payment â Complete payment via the Razorpay payment gateway. We accept UPI, credit/debit cards, net banking, and international cards.
- Receive Confirmation â Upon successful payment, you will receive a booking confirmation and payment ID. Our team will reach out on WhatsApp within 24 hours to confirm your slot and guide next steps.
- â¸All payments are processed securely via Razorpay. Kumbh Snan does not store or have access to your card or banking details.
- â¸The customer is responsible for ensuring that the contact details, photograph, name, and gotra submitted at the time of booking are accurate. The Company is not liable for errors resulting from inaccurate information provided by the customer.
- â¸Payment currency is Indian Rupees (INR) for domestic customers. International customers may be charged in INR; conversion charges, if any, are borne by the customer's bank or payment provider.
- â¸Slot availability is limited. The Company reserves the right to decline or reschedule a booking in cases of oversubscription, and will notify affected customers promptly.
All sales are generally final. Given the nature of the service â a sacred ritual performed at a specific time and location on your behalf â refunds are not routinely offered once a booking is confirmed and the ritual is scheduled or performed.
The following exceptions and conditions apply to our refund policy:
- â¸Cancellation before scheduling: If you cancel your booking before your slot is scheduled and the ritual has not commenced, a partial refund of up to 50% of the booking amount may be issued at the Company's discretion, after deducting payment gateway charges.
- â¸Company-initiated cancellation: In the event the Company is unable to perform the ritual due to circumstances within its control (excluding Force Majeure events), a full refund will be issued to the customer within 7â10 business days.
- â¸Non-delivery of video proof: If video proof is not delivered to your WhatsApp within 48 hours of the scheduled ritual date through no fault of your own, you are entitled to a full refund or a reschedule at no additional cost.
- â¸Incorrect information: Refunds will not be issued if the customer provides incorrect contact details, photographs, or WhatsApp numbers, resulting in non-delivery or poor ritual execution.
- â¸Post-ritual requests: No refunds or exchanges will be entertained after the ritual has been performed and video proof has been delivered.
Refund requests must be submitted in writing via WhatsApp or email to our customer support team within 5 calendar days of the booking or scheduled ritual date. The Company will review and respond to refund requests within 5 business days.
The Company commits to the following service delivery standards:
- â¸Video Delivery Timeline: The ritual video will be delivered to your registered WhatsApp number within 24 hours of the ritual being performed. During peak Kumbh Mela dates, this may extend to 48 hours.
- â¸Video Content: The video will show the pandit performing the Snan at the holy ghat, and will include the chanting of your name and gotra as provided in the booking form.
- â¸WhatsApp Requirement: It is the customer's responsibility to ensure their WhatsApp number is active, has sufficient storage to receive video files, and is not blocking unknown contacts.
- â¸Sampoorna Package: The digital e-certificate will be delivered within 48 hours of ritual completion as a PDF or image file via WhatsApp or email.
- â¸Slot Dates: Exact ritual dates will be communicated on WhatsApp after booking. Ritual dates are subject to Kumbh Mela 2027 official snan schedule and may be adjusted to align with auspicious (muhurat) dates.
By submitting your photograph and personal details for the ritual, you grant the Company permission to use these solely for the purpose of ritual identification by the pandit. Your photo will not be published publicly or used for marketing without your explicit consent.
By placing a booking, you agree and warrant that:
- â¸All information provided â including name, gotra, photograph, phone number, and email â is accurate, current, and truthful.
- â¸You are at least 18 years of age, or have the permission of a parent or guardian, and have the legal capacity to enter into this agreement.
- â¸You will not misuse the booking for fraudulent, commercial, or deceptive purposes.
- â¸You will not record, share, redistribute, or commercially exploit the ritual video delivered to you without the prior written consent of the Company.
- â¸You understand and respect that this service is rooted in Vedic Hindu religious tradition and will not use or represent the service in a manner that demeans, mocks, or misrepresents said tradition.
- â¸You will communicate with our team respectfully. The Company reserves the right to refuse service to any customer engaging in abusive, threatening, or disrespectful conduct.
All content on the Kumbh Snan website â including but not limited to text, images, graphics, logos, service descriptions, page layouts, code, and branding â is the exclusive intellectual property of Kumbh Snan and is protected under applicable Indian and international copyright and trademark laws.
- â¸You may not copy, reproduce, republish, modify, translate, or distribute any content from the website without our prior written permission.
- â¸The ritual video delivered to you as part of the service is intended solely for your personal, non-commercial use as spiritual documentation.
- â¸The Kumbh Snan name, logo, and associated marks are the proprietary brand assets of the Company. Unauthorised use constitutes trademark infringement.
The Kumbh Snan service is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. While we strive to deliver a sincere, authentic, and professional service, the following limitations apply:
- â¸No Spiritual Guarantee: The Company makes no representation regarding spiritual outcomes, religious merit, or divine intervention resulting from the ritual. Such matters are wholly personal and matters of individual faith.
- â¸Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Company's total liability for any claim arising from this service shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific booking in question.
- â¸Indirect Losses: The Company is not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including emotional distress, loss of religious opportunity, or reputational harm.
- â¸Third-Party Services: The Company is not responsible for failures, outages, or issues arising from third-party services including Razorpay, WhatsApp, Google, or telecommunications providers.
- â¸Ghat Access: The Company does not guarantee access to any specific ghat on any specific date. In case of access restrictions due to government orders, crowd management, or safety concerns, we reserve the right to perform the ritual at the best available ghat or alternate sacred location in Nashik.
We are committed to protecting your personal information. By using our service, you consent to the collection and processing of your data as described below:
- â¸Data Collected: Name, gotra, phone number, email address, country, photograph, payment ID, and booking details.
- â¸Purpose of Use: Data is used exclusively for service fulfilment (performing the ritual and delivering video proof), customer communication via WhatsApp, internal record-keeping, and improvement of our service.
- â¸Data Storage: Booking data is stored securely using Google Sheets. Payment data is managed entirely by Razorpay and is not stored on our servers.
- â¸No Third-Party Sale: We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties for any commercial purpose.
- â¸Marketing: If you opt in to receive updates, we may contact you via WhatsApp or email about Kumbh Snan services. You may unsubscribe at any time by messaging us.
- â¸Meta Pixel: This website uses the Meta (Facebook) Pixel for advertising analytics. No personally identifiable information is shared with Meta through this pixel beyond standard browsing events.
- â¸Your Rights: Under applicable Indian data protection laws, you have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data held by us. To exercise these rights, contact us via WhatsApp or email.
The Company shall not be held liable for any delay, inability to perform, or failure of service delivery arising from causes beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- â¸Natural disasters, floods, earthquakes, or acts of God.
- â¸Government orders, Section 144 restrictions, crowd control measures, or lockdowns affecting ghat access or public gatherings.
- â¸Pandemics, epidemics, or public health emergencies declared by competent authorities.
- â¸Nationwide internet or telecommunications disruptions affecting video delivery.
- â¸Sudden unavailability of pandit(s) due to illness or personal emergency.
In the event of a Force Majeure situation, the Company will make best-effort attempts to reschedule the service at the earliest opportunity and will notify affected customers promptly. If rescheduling is not feasible, a full refund will be issued.
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, without regard to conflict of law principles.
- â¸Jurisdiction: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, the service, or any transaction on the platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Nashik, Maharashtra, India.
- â¸Dispute Resolution: Before initiating any legal proceedings, both parties agree to attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. Customers are encouraged to first raise any concern directly with our team via WhatsApp or email.
- â¸Consumer Rights: Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 (India) or other applicable consumer protection legislation.
The Company reserves the right to amend, update, or replace these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on the website at kumbh-snan.com/terms-and-conditions.
It is the customer's responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the website or service following any update constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. For bookings already confirmed and paid, the Terms in effect at the time of booking shall apply, except where required otherwise by law.
Material changes to these Terms will be communicated via a notice on the homepage or via WhatsApp broadcast to existing customers where reasonably practicable.
